CAVI – The Windows 10 Upgraders Short Course

Hi everyone,

I am doing another CAVI (Cisco Academe for the the Vision Impaired) training course, this time it is about the new Windows 10 and how to upgrade to it. In the past I have done HTML5 with CSS and WordPress and CMS Fundamentals courses, as well as short courses such as NDVA and Skype. I am also about to commence a CAVI course on PowerPoint.

This 3 or 4 Short Course commences on 2nd September 2015

Welcome to the brand new Windows 10 Upgraders short course from CAVI.

This course will last for 3-4 weeks and include topics such as:

– Windows Installation
– Syncing documents and settings with One Drive and your Microsoft Account
– Using Narrator
– PC Settings
– The Ribbons
– The Start Screen
– The New and Improved All Apps
– This PC/QuickAccess
– The action Center
– Virtual Desktop
– Search/Cortana
– The App Store

Dealing with Modern Apps, such as News, People and Facebook and anything else the students would like to see covered.

You will find this course valuable whether you are upgrading from Windows 8.1, or whether you are moving to Windows 10 from Windows 7 or XP.
Course Dates

The course will run on Thursday mornings,, Perth time, which is Wednesday evenings in North America. It will begin on September 3 2015 Perth time.
Requirements

This course is designed for use with Jaws or NVDA with Windows 10. If you’re running Window Eyes, please let us know ahead of time.
Pricing
